Champaign County Hot Air Balloon Festival

Southwest Ohio's Greatest Balloon Festival - "A Hot Air Affair". Come watch as these majestic balloons fill the sky with their vibrant, entrancing colors and designs. Our event is a 'fun' event, not a competition for the pilots. Come relax, unwind and enjoy the evening! A dozen balloons will inflate and launch upward into the sky. Then while the balloon crews recover the balloons we have plenty to do, from food eating contests to vendors of all sorts, food, face painting and hair painting, Beer & Wine Garden, and plenty to see elsewhere on the Airport. 3 separate museums, the Champaign Aviation Museum, the Ohio Wing of the Mid America Flight Museum, and the Grimes Flying Lab Museum.
