Music at St. Mary presents - LancasterChorale Christmas Concert, At the Manger with Motets, carols, and tender lullabies for Christmas

Central Ohio’s premier professional chamber choir performs a collection of lullabies that reflect the conflicting emotions experienced by those kneeling at the manger. Selections contemplate wonder, surprise, tenderness, but also the anxiety of a young mother warned of the suffering she and her Son will bear. Programming includes Francis Poulenc’s renowned Four Christmas Motets (a December “must-hear” since their composition in 1952), carols in Spanish, and audience favorites.
