The OSU Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies will host author and OSU alumna Genevieve Gornichec, author of The Witch’s Heart and The Weaver and the Witch Queen for an annual public lecture.From Marvel’s Thor to a hit television series, the Vikings have experienced a significant upsurge in popularity in recent years. But how do modern depictions of the Vikings complement and conflict with one another, and how might early medieval Scandinavians have seen themselves in comparison?
