Mi Isla y Yo explores the journey toward liberation and autonomy from the perspective of a kid born Trans in Borínquen (Puerto Rico). Rullán–Fantauzzi highlights the island’s storied history, including the banning of the country’s flag, and the ongoing threats of displacement and the commodification of land.
