Hand Building Pottery at The Arts Castle

Students will explore surface decoration techniques such as sgraffito, mishima, engobe stains, slip trailing, carving, piercing, and sculpting. They will create a minimum of three pieces. Two will be utilitarian (useful) and others will be expressive. Experimenting, exploring, and expressing ideas will be encouraged as an extension of structured projects. This class is for ages 15+.**This class includes 9 sessions Tuesdays, January 16th-March 12th 6:00-8:30pm.**
