America SCORES Cleveland Poetry SLAM
On November 14th SCORES will hold our annual Poetry SLAM. Our poetry SLAM is a night of inspiration where 18 teams of 3rd - 5th graders take the stage and perform an original team poem and an individual poem. Throughout the 10 weeks of Fall programming our students have been working hard on learning poetry and writing their own poems.
Our Poetry SLAM is a chance for our poet-athletes to share what they have learned with their families, school staff, and community members. We have judges from throughout the city who will score the written poems and performances and awards will be handed out to the top teams.
