Dobbs, a paranoid loser who teams up with a young drifter (Tim Holt) and an old prospector (Walter Huston) to search for gold in Mexico. The film, one of the most famous of all American movies, won Oscars for both John Huston (director, screenplay) and his father (supporting actor).
