Loft Gallery Opening Reception: Your Own Creative Voice

Students in the Collage-Mixed Media class at the Cultural Arts Center are learning a variety of experimental techniques using paints, inks, printing, stamping, bleaching and more. Through discovery and trial, students begin to develop their own esthetic which leads to a strong creative voice. They are encouraged to start with a theme or subject matter and expand on the colors and shapes found in that theme. This show represents the Creative Voices of the students of Marjaneh Abassi.
