Intro to Foamsmithing: Make a Mini Shield

Learn the basics of foamsmithing with Maker Fishmeal, an Ohio-based craftsmanship cosplayer & expert maker. You'll learn the art of building armor and props out of foam!Each guest will create a "wooden" mini shield, perfect for adding to any costume or to simply use as decor. Templates will be provided, or you can choose to create your own design!We’ll cover the entire process from start to finish, including cutting foam, adhering, adding detail, shaping, sealing, painting, and weathering.
