Black History Month Presentation: Life and Legacy of Brigadier General Charles Young

The Ohio Statehouse will celebrate Black History Month throughout February with free historical performances each Tuesday at noon. The performances will be live streamed online at OhioChannel.org.
On Feb. 25, 2025, learn about Brigadier General Charles Young, who was a Buffalo Soldier and the first African American national park superintendent. A NPS park ranger will answer questions.The Tuesday events are free and open to the public in the Atrium of the Ohio Statehouse! For large groups, please call 614-728-3726 to schedule.
