Rotimi Fani-Kayode: Traces of Ecstasy

Explore a world of heightened sensuality informed by Black queer club culture and Yoruba spirituality in the work of Nigerian British photographer Rotimi Fani-Kayode.As an art student in the United States, Fani-Kayode came to negotiate his outsider status, balancing his heritage alongside his sexuality and exposure to underground subculture. Organized in partnership with Autograph ABP (London), the exhibition is the first North American survey of Fani-Kayode’s work and archives.
