Tracking Lichens on the Frozen Continent: Life between Ice and Rock in Antarctica

Learn about the flora of Antarctica and how it’s changed over the past decades with Dr. Sancho, and with support from The Ohio State University this Earth Day! The OSU Herbarium and Polar Rock Repository maintains a major collection of plant specimens, with a substantial number of Antarctic lichens collected by polar botanist Dr. Emanuel Rudolph in the early 1960’s.
