17th Annual Multi Music Fest: Kenny Lattimore, Kirk Whalum & Jeff Lorber Fusion
Over the past 17 years, the MultiMusicFest (MMF), has been the biggest fundraiser for the MC Chatman Center.
Your attendance at this benefit generates funds for MC Chapman Center programs. These include daycare; employment assistance; food pantry; clothing and school supply assistance; tutoring and computer classes, and scholarships, among others. These programs assist thousands of people in inner city Cleveland and beyond every year.
This annual event is designed to bring a diversified audience together to celebrate the art of great musical entertainment.
2024’s MultiMusicFest features Grammy Award nominee singer-songwriter Kenny Lattimore who grooved last year to his second #1 Billboard charting hit with “Take A Dose”, Grammy-winning keyboardist, composer & producer Jeff Lorber who just released his 30th studio album and R&B smooth jazz saxophonist Kirk Whalum who has had successful solo albums in addition to his career as a session musician for artists like Barbara Streisand, Al Jarreau, Luther Vandross, Larry Carlton, Quincy Jones and most notably, Whitney Houston -it’s his sax heard on the mega-hit, “I Will Always Love You.”
Our opening act will be local vocalist Stacey Richardson, professionally known as Sarah’s Girl as a tribute to her late mother, Sarah Weeden Richardson. She began singing with her family’s gospel choir, the Weeden Family Singers at the age of 3. Most recently she has performed with Hubb’s Groove.
