Enjoy Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Jewels Variations from Act III of Sleeping Beauty, performed by the Canton Ballet, and period pieces performed by a Canton Symphony Orchestra String Quartet at the Massillon Museum on Sunday, September 29, at 2:30 p.m.! Jewels Variations first premiered at Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, on January 15, 1890, choreographed by Marius Petipa. Costumes courtesy of Elizabeth Ekey and the Tutu Theatre. Staging done under Jennifer Catazaro Hayward.

Following the program, Gilding Northeast Ohio Guest Curator Brian Centrone and Western Reserve Historical Society Museum Advisory Council Curator of Costume and Textiles Patricia Edmonson will co-moderate a fashion history panel featuring Art Historian Dr. Elizabeth Block and Historian Dr. Einav Rabinovitch-Fox.
