Cécile McLorin Salvant

Grammy Award–winning singer and composer Cécile McLorin Salvant makes her Wexner Center debut as the first act in this year’s jazz series, featuring pianist Sullivan Fortner.A composer, singer, and visual artist, Salvant has developed a passion for storytelling and finding the connections between vaudeville, blues, folk traditions from around the world, theater, jazz, and baroque music. Among numerous accolades, Salvant recieved Grammy's for Best Jazz Vocal Album for three consecutive albums.
