Take flight in Liberty Aviation Museum's historic 1928 Ford Tri-Motor aircraft on Oct 12th at the Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton, Ohio! The Ford Tri-Motor was the first luxury airliner of its time. The "City of Wichita" Ford Tri-Motor participated in the first ever air/rail transcontinental flight in July of 1929 with Transcontinental Air Transport which later became TWA. This is the last surviving aircraft from that original historic flight. Amelia Earhart & Charles Lindbergh also participated in that historic flight with our plane; in addition to being stockholders in the airline TAT. This plane marked the beginning of commercial flight. Fly in history! Tickets are sold on-site and in advance.
