Olivia Polash: A Sample of Cello Suites

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) and the Wadsworth Public Library present cellist Olivia Polash on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 2 pm at the Wadsworth Public Library, 132 Broad Street, Wadsworth, OH 44281. Bach’s famous Solo Cello Suites are a standard amongst cellists across the world and have been for many generations. Composers often look to these pieces for inspiration to write new, self-accompanying music for solo instruments. Olivia will present a sampling from the original cello suites, as well as some more contemporary examples of Bach’s influence.

The program is free, but reservations are recommended by registering at www.ormaco.org or calling 419-853-6016. Seating is on a first-come basis.
