Urban Sketchers led by Robin Carnes

1028 Scott Blvd., Covington, OH 41011
Urban Sketchers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising the artistic, storytelling and educational value of location drawing, promoting its practice and connecting people around the world who draw on location where they live and travel. We aim to show the world, one drawing at a time.

“Robin Ewers Carnes is a watercolor artist, illustrator and graphic designer born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and has been drawing since before she could talk. Known for her sketches of Cincinnati landmarks and zoo animals, Robin can usually be found somewhere in the city with a sketchbook in hand. She enjoys capturing the history of Cincinnati, past and current, and loves being able to share her work with others.

Notable Cincinnati public art projects she’s been a part of in include: the Eden Park Basketball Court revitalization, Artworks projects the Ezzard Charles Mural, the Over the Swine Pig Statue, and the Christian Moerlein Brewing Heritage Trail Pig Statue.

She has also been one of the four admins of the Cincinnati chapter of Urban Sketchers since the groups’ official chapter recognition and helps organize sketch outings every month for Urban Sketchers Cincinnati.”

This event is free and open to the public.
