Missoula Children’s Theatre Camp: Treasure Island
Peoples Bank Theatre is excited to bring back the Missoula Children’s Theatre for a one-week children’s theatre camp this year! This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce your children to the performing arts. We encourage children who are entering the 1st through 12th grades to audition. It is FREE for children to audition and participate in this camp!
Auditions will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of Treasure Island from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4th, at Peoples Bank Theatre, located at 222 Putnam Street in Marietta, Ohio. Those auditioning should arrive at 10:00 a.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Most of the chosen cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.
Approximately 50 to 60 roles are available for local students. All students entering 1st through 12th grade are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary.
Most students will rehearse approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes each day, from Monday, August 4th, through Friday, August 8th. The production team will provide the specific rehearsal schedule after auditions are held on Monday, August 4th.
The performance is scheduled for 7:00 pm at Peoples Bank Theatre on Friday, August 8th.
