The Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University has announced its 2025-26 performing arts season, featuring a dynamic lineup of dance, music, and multidisciplinary performances. Running from September 2025 through April 2026, the season aims to connect generations, disciplines, and communities through the work of visionary artists.
The season includes a world premiere of “ZAZ,” an immersive performance honoring Hurricane Katrina survivors, and features artists such as jazz musician Etienne Charles & Creole Soul and percussionist Mark Lomax II. The programming also includes an Ohio premiere of the opera “The Old Man and the Sea,” presented in partnership with Opera Columbus, and works by choreographers Wanjiru Kamuyu and Marion Ramirez with Ojeya Cruz Banks.
Nathalie Bonjour, Head of Performing Arts at the Wexner Center, stated that the season is “about connection and rediscovery,” presenting work that is both timely and brings significant artists to the local stage. Advance ticket sales for Wex members began on July 7, with general public sales opening on July 21. The season emphasizes artistic innovation and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
