The Cleveland Museum of Natural History announced it will host Ira Flatow, renowned science correspondent and host of NPR’s “Science Friday,” for a special event titled “The Art of Science Communication” on Friday, January 23, 2026. The program aims to explore how science can be made accessible, engaging, and meaningful through storytelling, media, and public dialogue.
Flatow, known for his work in making science and technology approachable, will share insights from his career during a moderated Q&A. The event is part of the Linda and Les Vinney Know Your World Lecture Series and emphasizes the importance of communication in connecting people to science and the natural world. Museum doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with the discussion commencing at 7 p.m. Beverages and food will be available for purchase, and parking is available in the museum’s attached garage.
