The season, running from September 2025 through May 2026 at Severance Music Center, promises a diverse program featuring classical masterpieces, contemporary works, and three Cleveland Orchestra commissions. This season highlights Welser-Möst’s artistic vision, blending tradition with innovation, and celebrates the orchestra’s dedication to cultural enrichment.

The season will also feature performances by renowned guest artists such as pianists Daniil Trifonov and Yuja Wang, soprano Asmik Grigorian, and violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja. A significant event will be the fourth annual Mandel Opera & Humanities Festival, themed “Courage,” centered around three performances of Beethoven’s opera “Fidelio.”
