The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation has revealed its highly anticipated Class of 2025 inductees, celebrating a diverse group of artists who have significantly impacted music and culture. The announcement was made live on ABC’s “American Idol” by Ryan Seacrest. This year’s honorees span multiple categories, including Performer, Musical Influence, Musical Excellence, and the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
Among the performers set to be inducted are Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes. The Musical Influence Award will be presented to Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon, while Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins, and Carol Kaye will receive the Musical Excellence Award. Lenny Waronker is slated to receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
The 2025 Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The event will be streamed live on Disney+, with a subsequent airing on ABC and availability on Hulu the following day. This annual ceremony honors artists and music professionals whose work has demonstrably shaped the landscape of rock and roll and popular music.
