The Columbus Symphony, under the direction of Music Director Rossen Milanov, has unveiled its 2025-26 Masterworks season. The season will feature 12 programs performed at the Ohio Theatre, with subscriptions now available for purchase. Single tickets will go on sale June 9.
Highlights of the upcoming season include acclaimed pianist Anna Fedorova performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5, and a live performance of the Academy-Award winning film “Amadeus” accompanied by the orchestra and chorus. The season will also present well-known compositions such as Handel’s “Messiah,” Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Scheherazade,” and Mahler’s Symphony No. 1. Additionally, the symphony will feature contemporary works by Viet Cuong and Jeffrey Mumford, as well as pieces by women composers Kaija Saariaho and Florence Price. For families, all children aged 6-16 will receive free admission when accompanied by an adult.
