The Cleveland Orchestra announced its 2026 Blossom Music Festival and Summers at Severance seasons on March 13, with 13 programs running from July through early September at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls.

Broadway and film star Idina Menzel will perform with the orchestra on July 26 as part of the Blossom Summer Soirée. The evening draws from her stage and screen career, including material from Rent, Wicked, and Frozen. Conductor Semyon Bychkov and pianist Garrick Ohlsson open the Summers at Severance series on July 16 at Severance Music Center.

Music director Franz Welser-Möst, beginning his 25th and final season with the orchestra, leads one program at each venue this summer. He conducts Wagner and Richard Strauss at Severance on August 27, then returns to Blossom on August 29 for a program of Mozart and Strauss family works. The season closes with three nights of John Williams music over Labor Day weekend, September 4–6.

The festival opens in early July with an America at 250 celebration. Other programs include a film concert pairing John Williams’s score for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets with the film on July 11–12, and a tribute to Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and others on August 8.
