The Cleveland Orchestra announced its 2026 Blossom Music Festival and Summers at Severance seasons on March 13, featuring a schedule that marks Music Director Franz Welser-Möst’s 25th and final summer with the ensemble. The Blossom Music Festival runs July 3 through September 6 at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, while the Summers at Severance series presents Thursday evening concerts at Severance Music Center in Cleveland.

The season opens with an America at 250 celebration on July 4th weekend, featuring tenor Limmie Pulliam under conductor Edwin Outwater. Highlights include two nights of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets performed live to film with conductor Brett Mitchell (July 11–12), an evening with Broadway star Idina Menzel on July 26, and a Cole Porter tribute on August 23. Welser-Möst will conduct a Viennese-inspired program at Blossom on August 29 before closing the Summers at Severance series on August 27 with works by Wagner and Richard Strauss. The festival concludes with three nights of John Williams film scores, September 4–6.

The Summers at Severance series features four Thursday programs: Garrick Ohlsson performing Rachmaninoff on July 16, a Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony program on July 30, a night of opera arias on August 13 with Grammy Award-winning soprano Latonia Moore and tenor Brandon Jovanovich, and Welser-Möst conducting Wagner and Strauss on August 27. Individual tickets went on sale March 11 through the Severance Music Center ticket office and clevelandorchestra.com. The J.M. Smucker Co. serves as presenting sponsor of the 2026 Blossom Music Festival.
