The Cleveland Pops Orchestra has announced its 2026–27 season, presenting six main-stage concerts at Severance Music Center plus a holiday special at Playhouse Square. Under Conductor Carl Topilow, the season covers themes ranging from disco and Motown to Broadway film adaptations, rock, and space exploration.
The season opens October 17 with “Disco & Motown: A Night to Dance,” followed by “Stage to Screen: Broadway Movie Hits” in January 2027 and “Tina Turner: Queen of Rock & Soul” in March 2027. Travel writer and television host Rick Steves will appear on screen April 3, 2027, as the orchestra provides a live cinematic soundtrack for “Rick Steves’ Europe: A Symphonic Journey.” The season closes June 5, 2027, with “Symphony of Stars,” which pairs NASA Glenn imagery with live music narrated by a veteran astronaut. The annual “Jingle Bell Pops” holiday concert returns to Playhouse Square on November 29, 2026.
The Cleveland Pops is a nonprofit orchestra dedicated to accessible, popular classical programming for Northeast Ohio audiences. Tickets and subscription packages for the 2026–27 season are available through the orchestra’s website.
