The Cleveland Orchestra has announced that eight-time Grammy Award-winning musician Jon Batiste will perform at Blossom Music Center on Thursday, August 20, 2026, as part of the orchestra’s annual Blossom Music Festival summer season. The engagement pairs one of contemporary music’s most versatile performers with one of the world’s foremost orchestras for an outdoor concert at the orchestra’s summer home in Cuyahoga Falls.

Batiste, a pianist, vocalist, and bandleader known for his genre-spanning work across jazz, soul, and classical traditions, won five Grammy Awards at the 2022 ceremony including Album of the Year. He has served as bandleader for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and released several acclaimed studio recordings. The Cleveland Orchestra’s 2026 Blossom Music Festival season also features Idina Menzel on July 26, a Harry Potter film score concert, and an America at 250 program on July 3.
