The Cleveland Institute of Art will hold the opening reception for its 2026 Spring Show on Tuesday, April 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the institute’s campus at 11610 Euclid Ave. The annual exhibition showcases student work across the school’s full range of degree programs and serves as one of the most concentrated public presentations of emerging art and design talent in Northeast Ohio.

Opening night will feature timed events including video screenings by Photography students beginning at 6 p.m. in the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Screening Room; a runway show in the Mandel Atrium at 7 p.m.; and animation screenings in the Peter B. Lewis Theater at 7:30 p.m. One-night-only exhibitions will include work from Game Design, Illustration, and Photography students, along with student sales in the Lounge and an Illustration Artist Alley on the fourth floor.

Ongoing exhibitions as part of the Spring Design Show will remain on view in the Reinberger Gallery and other campus spaces, covering programs including Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Life Sciences Illustration, Craft + Design, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture + Expanded Media. Complimentary parking will be available in CIA Lot 73 and the Annex Lot during the event. The Spring Show is supported by Cuyahoga Arts & Culture and CIA Community Partners.
