The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra will perform its annual Red, White & BOOM! Independence Day concert on July 4, 2026, at Riverbend Music Center, with Broadway actress Mandy Gonzalez headlining the program as the country marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Gonzalez, known for her roles in Hamilton and In the Heights, will perform with the Cincinnati Pops under conductor John Morris Russell. Pre-concert activities at PNC Pavilion begin at 6:30 p.m., with the main orchestral performance starting at 8 p.m. Joining the Pops on stage will be U.S. Army members, the Cincinnati Pops Chorale — composed of singers from the May Festival Chorus, May Festival Youth Chorus, and Classical Roots Community Choir — and the QKidz dance team from Cincinnati’s West End neighborhood.

A family fun zone at PNC Pavilion will offer arts and crafts, face painting, an instrument petting zoo, and salsa dance lessons before the show. The concert will conclude with a Rozzi Fireworks display. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and youth, with $5 from each sale benefiting Disabled American Veterans. Veterans and active-duty military personnel receive free admission. Tickets are available at cincinnatipops.org or by calling 513-381-3300, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
