ArtsWave’s Board of Trustees has approved 12 projects to receive ArtsWave YP Grants in 2026, the organization announced at its recent Annual Meeting. The grants, recommended by the ArtsWave YP Committee, support programs designed to connect young professionals to Greater Cincinnati’s cultural community.

Funded projects include AfroArt After Dark, which uses immersive installations and live performances to bring Black creativity to the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood; Mindful Poetry Moments, offering weekly gatherings for young professionals to write and publish poetry; and Girls Rock Remix, a weekend program in which participants form bands, write original songs, and build community through music and arts workshops.

The YP Grants program, launched in 2016, is funded in part through ArtsWave YP members’ contributions to the organization’s annual Community Campaign. ArtsWave describes the grants as addressing a core factor in regional talent retention: creating a sense of belonging among young professionals through direct participation in the city’s cultural life.
