The Cleveland Pops Orchestra has announced its 30th anniversary season for 2026-27, featuring a lineup that ranges from Motown classics to a concert exploring outer space themes. Music Director Carl Topilow unveiled the programming for the milestone season, which opens in September 2026 and runs through spring 2027. Tickets for the season go on sale to the general public on June 1, 2026.
The 30th season is designed to reflect the ensemble’s longstanding approach of pairing orchestral performance with popular culture themes that draw broad audiences. The Motown-themed concert is scheduled for November 2026, and a cosmology-focused program is planned for February 2027. The orchestra has built its reputation in Cleveland since its founding by blending recognizable repertoire with full orchestral treatment.
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating 30 years of bringing world-class orchestral music to Cleveland,” Topilow said in a statement. “This season’s lineup is a true reflection of our city’s diverse musical tastes and cultural heritage.” The Cleveland Pops performs at venues across the region; additional program details and ticket information are available at the orchestra’s website.
