The Ohio Craft Museum in Columbus is presenting “Best of 2026,” Ohio Designer Craftsmen’s 43rd annual juried members exhibition, from May 3 through July 3, 2026. The show features 73 works by 69 Ohio craft artists working in clay, glass, metal, wood, fiber, and mixed media, selected by juror Carol Savion from nearly 400 entries.

Savion, creator of the PBS series Craft in America and owner of Freehand Gallery in Los Angeles, recognized 13 artists with awards of excellence. Sherwood artist Mike Kozumplik received the Director Emeritus Betty Talbott Award for Excellence for his sterling silver and marble necklace titled “The Back Forty.”

After closing in Columbus, the exhibition travels to the CVA Gallery at Kent State University in Kent, where it will be on view August 25 through October 7. The Ohio Craft Museum is located at 1665 W. Fifth Ave., Columbus. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
