Playhouse Square announced seven productions for its 2026–2027 Broadway series, with season ticket packages available beginning March 25, 2026. The Cleveland performing arts complex will serve as a premiere touring venue for several of the productions, opening with “Death Becomes Her” in September 2026 and closing with “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” the following September.
The full lineup includes “Death Becomes Her” (Sept. 12–Oct. 3, 2026), “Mamma Mia!” (Jan. 5–24, 2027), “Boop! The Musical” (Feb. 2–21, 2027), “Maybe Happy Ending” (March 2–21, 2027), “The Phantom of the Opera” (April 14–May 9, 2027), “Buena Vista Social Club” (July 27–Aug. 15, 2027), and “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” (Aug. 24–Sept. 12, 2027). Playhouse Square is located at 1501 Euclid Avenue in Cleveland’s Theater District.
David Greene, senior vice president of programming at Playhouse Square, said the organization is “ecstatic to usher in a new season” beginning with the premiere tour of “Death Becomes Her.” The extended premiere engagement provides employment opportunities for local theater staff and brings economic activity to the surrounding neighborhood. Season subscriptions and individual tickets are available at playhousesquare.org.
