The Columbus Museum of Art opened “Greater Columbus: The 2026 Visual Arts Fellowship Exhibition” on April 15, showcasing six recipients of the Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Visual Arts Fellowship. The exhibition, on view through September 20, 2026, features work by Malcolm Cochran, Yusef Ferguson, Dana Lynn Harper, Marcus Jackson, Michelle Stitzlein, and Bradley Weyandt.
The six artists work across a wide range of disciplines, including sculpture, photography, textiles, installation, video, and sound. The biennial exhibition is presented in partnership with the Greater Columbus Arts Council, whose Visual Arts Fellowship program has supported Central Ohio artists since 1986. Jurors for the 2025 fellowship cycle included Anthony Graham of the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, Maddie Klett of Ortuzar gallery in New York, and Antoinette Roberts of the Baltimore Museum of Art.
The museum will offer a “Greater Columbus Up Close” program series giving visitors the opportunity to hear directly from the artists in the galleries. Funding for the exhibition comes from the Greater Columbus Arts Council, Nationwide Foundation, the Ohio Arts Council, and several private foundations. The Columbus Museum of Art is located at 480 E. Broad St., Columbus.
