Beck Center for the Arts in Lakewood has announced its 94th professional theater season, a six-production lineup running from October 2026 through August 2027 that includes a world premiere comedy, multiple regional premiere musicals, and a one-woman play. Artistic Director Scott Spence unveiled the season on April 29, 2026.

The season opens October 2 with World Class Care, a world premiere comedy by Cleveland playwright Eric Coble. That production is followed by the regional premieres of How to Dance in Ohio (December 2026–January 2027) and Dear Evan Hansen (February–March 2027). The Belle of Amherst, a one-woman play about poet Emily Dickinson performed by a local cast member, runs April–May 2027. The season closes with two musicals: Violet (June–July 2027) and Disney’s Frozen (July–August 2027).

Beck Center is also staging a second annual collaboration with Oberlin College & Conservatory’s Music Theater Program as part of the season. Spence noted that the lineup offers Northeast Ohio audiences three locally produced premieres alongside the world premiere. Season tickets range from $136 to $384 per seat; individual tickets begin at $43 for adults, with student and children’s pricing available. New subscriber sales begin June 2, 2026, with public ticket sales opening July 1.
