ProMusica Chamber Orchestra will perform three outdoor concerts on August 13, 14, and 15 as part of its annual Summer Music Series. Two of the concerts will take place at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens on the Near East Side, continuing a tradition the orchestra has maintained since 2012. A third concert, new this year, will be held at Headley Park in Gahanna, presented in partnership with the Gahanna Arts Council.

Music Director David Danzmayr will lead the performances, which feature two of the orchestra’s principal musicians as soloists. Principal Flutist Nadine Hur will perform Mozart’s Flute Concerto No. 1, and Principal Trumpet Justin Kohan will perform Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto in E-Flat Major. The Franklin Park concerts, on August 13 and 14 at 8 p.m., are free. The Headley Park concert on August 15 at 7 p.m. is $15 for adults and $5 for students.

Additional programming includes works by Viet Cuong, Schubert, Nielsen, George Walker, and Mozart. Children’s activities begin one hour before the Franklin Park performances.
