The Cleveland Orchestra has announced a balanced budget for the seventh consecutive year, concluding its 2024-25 fiscal year with a small surplus of $19,000 on an operating budget of $66.5 million. This achievement reflects stable operations sustained by strong community, audience, and donor engagement. Key revenue streams included ticket sales, fundraising, and endowment draws, while expenses were primarily allocated to artistic, staff, and venue costs.

The 2024-25 season, the Orchestra’s 107th, was marked by significant artistic achievements, including an international tour to Europe, the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Opera & Humanities Festival featuring Leoš Janáček’s opera *Jenůfa*, and numerous artist debuts. Educational and community programs also expanded, with performances like *Wild Symphony* for families and a return to Cain Park for a free community concert. Digital media expansion through Adella.live and new recordings further broadened the Orchestra’s reach.

In addition to its operational and artistic successes, the Orchestra welcomed six new members to its Board of Trustees, bringing diverse expertise to strengthen its governance and mission. The press release also highlighted a $5 million gift to support the Music Director’s chair and a record number of supporters, underscoring the continued robust backing from the community.
