The Cleveland Orchestra has announced its 2025-26 season of Family Concerts and Music Explorers Series, taking place at Severance Music Center. These programs are designed to introduce children and families to classical music through engaging and educational performances. The Family Concert Series, aimed at ages 7-12, will feature a variety of themes, including a “Halloween Spooktacular” on October 19, 2025, a performance of “Beethoven Lives Upstairs” on March 6, 2026, and a program based on the works of author Mo Willems on May 1 and 3, 2026.

For younger audiences aged 3-6, the Music Explorers Series offers shorter, interactive programs that introduce individual instruments. This series includes “Fantastic Flute” on November 7-8, 2025, “Holiday Brass Quintet” on December 12-13, 2025, “Velvet Violin” on February 27-28, 2026, “Tuneful Trombone” on April 3-4, 2026, and “Clever Clarinet” on April 24-25, 2026. The Orchestra will continue its commitment to accessibility with sensory-friendly performances and the “Under 18s Free” program, which offers complimentary tickets to individuals 17 and under for select concerts.
