The Cleveland Orchestra has announced a new global partnership with Marquee TV, a streaming service dedicated to the performing arts. This collaboration, set to launch on August 29, will feature original co-productions, special live-streamed events, and six digital productions from the orchestra.

The partnership aims to expand The Cleveland Orchestra’s digital presence, making its performances accessible to a worldwide audience. Marquee TV, often described as “Netflix for the arts,” already boasts partnerships with other major orchestras, and this addition further strengthens its classical music offerings. The initiative is part of the orchestra’s ongoing efforts to innovate in digital media and explore new avenues for audience engagement.

The upcoming digital productions will include performances of Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 6, Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 2, conducted by Music Director Franz Welser-Möst. These presentations will also incorporate behind-the-scenes interviews with Welser-Möst and other notable figures in the classical music world, offering a deeper look into the creative process.
