The Cleveland Orchestra has unveiled its 2025-26 digital season, set to launch on its streaming platform, Adella. Running from September 2025 through July 2026, the season will feature six “Live from Severance” broadcasts, streamed in real time from Mandel Concert Hall, alongside eight new digital premieres. These offerings aim to connect audiences more closely with the Orchestra, presenting recent concert recordings and exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
The digital season will include performances with Music Director Franz Welser-Möst, as well as collaborations with esteemed guest artists and conductors such as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Dalia Stasevska, John Adams, Elim Chan, Daniel Harding, and Osmo Vänskä. Highlights include the US premiere of Bernd Richard Deutsch’s “Urworte,” Dvořák’s “New World” Symphony, and Britten’s “War Requiem.” Subscribers will also have access to Adella’s extensive library of past digital concerts, audio recordings, documentaries, and archival materials.
Adella, launched in 2020 and named after the Orchestra’s founder Adella Prentiss Hughes, offers both free and premium content. Premium access, including livestreams and digital series, is available through a monthly or annual subscription, with discounted rates for current Cleveland Orchestra subscribers. The platform serves as the Orchestra’s primary digital home, extending its global reach through partnerships with various streaming services.
