The Cleveland Orchestra is set to bring beloved stories to life with two major film concert events in the summer of 2026. First, audiences can experience ‘Matilda in Concert’ at Severance Music Center on June 3 and June 5, 2026. The event will feature the 1996 film hosted and narrated by its director and star, Danny DeVito, with David Newman conducting The Cleveland Orchestra performing the score live.

Following ‘Matilda,’ the popular ‘Harry Potter Film Concert Series’ returns to Blossom Music Center with ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in Concert.’ These performances will take place on July 11 and July 12, 2026, where The Cleveland Orchestra will perform John Williams’s iconic score live as the film is projected in high definition. This event promises to immerse audiences in the magical adventure of Harry Potter’s second year at Hogwarts.

Tickets for both concert series will go on sale for select donors, subscribers, and members on October 29, with general ticket sales beginning October 31. Further details on ticketing and parking for the Blossom Music Festival can be found through the Severance Music Center Ticket Office or on the official Cleveland Orchestra website.
