Ohio Humanities and the Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University have announced the recipients of the 2024–25 Ohio Humanities Film Fellowships. This partnership aims to support independent filmmaking, with a particular focus on projects that explore humanities-informed documentaries connected to Ohio.
The four selected filmmakers—Eli Hiller of Columbus, Kiubon Kokko of Dublin, Lindsey Martin of Athens, and another unnamed recipient—will receive funding, mentorship, and in-kind resources for their projects. These fellowships are designed to highlight diverse perspectives and stories emerging from within Ohio.
The program, now in its second year, continues a tradition of supporting Ohio’s storytellers. The chosen filmmakers represent a range of backgrounds and career stages, contributing to the vibrant landscape of independent cinema in the state. The Wexner Center’s Film/Video Studio Program will provide crucial support for these emerging artists.
