The Toledo Museum of Art (TMA) will present a new digital art exhibition titled ‘Infinite Images: The Art of Algorithms’ starting July 12, 2025. The exhibition will explore how artists have utilized systems, patterns, and computer code to create art, featuring works from the 1960s to the present day.

With over 50 pieces by 24 artists, ‘Infinite Images’ showcases both early pioneers like Josef Albers and Vera Molnár, alongside contemporary digital artists such as Tyler Hobbs and Sarah Meyohas. Curated by Julia Kaganskiy, the exhibition is divided into four thematic sections, delving into generative art, randomness, interactive digital tools, and the mimicry of natural patterns.

Highlights of the exhibition include a working plotter machine that produces daily drawings, an interactive sound art sculpture, and digital works incorporating blockchain and artificial intelligence. The exhibition aims to connect historical digital art practices with current advancements and will be on view through November 30, 2025. General admission to the museum and parking are free, with exhibition admission priced at $10 per visitor.
