The Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) has announced a new partnership with Easterseals Redwood (ESRW) aimed at creating employment pathways for adults with disabilities. This collaboration seeks to address the ongoing labor shortage by fostering an inclusive workforce and offering individuals valuable skills and job opportunities within the museum setting.
Through this partnership, CMC will work with ESRW to recruit and train individuals with disabilities for various roles. Participants will gain hands-on experience, develop technical and communication skills, explore assistive technologies, and discover potential career paths, all while contributing to the museum’s operations. This initiative not only aims to fill workforce needs but also to promote greater inclusion and equity within the museum and the broader community.
