The Cleveland Museum of Art has announced its lineup of exhibitions and events for January 2026, featuring a diverse range of musical performances, visual art installations, and educational programs. The month will include concerts by Trio Seoul, Tarta Relena and Meara O’Reilly, and the Oberlin Sonny Rollins Jazz Ensemble, alongside performances by the Oberlin Contemporary Music Ensemble and the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory Opera.
New exhibitions opening in January include Dara Birnbaum’s Technology / Transformation: Wonder Woman, and Pahari Paintings: Art and Stories, which highlights traditional Indian paintings. Several exhibitions will continue into the new year, such as Indian Painting of the 1500s: Continuities and Transformations, In Vino Veritas (In Wine, Truth), and Eleanor Antin’s Nurse and Hijackers, alongside the popular Renaissance to Runway: The Enduring Italian Houses.
The museum will also host a variety of on-site activities, including lunchtime lectures on Filippino Lippi, workshops on the art of beer, and guided tours. Family-friendly events like Sensory-Friendly Saturdays and Museum in Miniature: Children’s Saturday Studios will also be available, alongside a special Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration on January 19th, offering a free day of art-making, performances, and tours.
