The Cleveland Museum of Art is set to host a diverse range of exhibitions and events throughout February 2026. Highlights include special Valentine’s Day-themed programming, new exhibitions, and ongoing popular series.

February programming will feature several Valentine’s Day-inspired events, such as a “Make and Sip” art-making session, “Date Night Performances: Tasting Notes” at Provenance restaurant with live jazz, and “Valentine’s Day Tours” exploring themes of love in art. The museum will also present “MIX: Peace, Love, and Soul” to celebrate Black History Month with live music and themed attire. Visitors can also engage with ongoing series like “Chamber Music in the Atrium” and “Art and Olympic Spirit Tours.”.

New exhibitions opening in February include “still/emerging: Native American Works on Paper,” the museum’s first exhibition focusing on its collection of prints and drawings by Native American artists. Additionally, “Hidden Insights: Looking at the Backs of Portrait Miniatures” will explore the ornate backs of portrait miniatures, offering a closer look at these personal treasures. Several exhibitions, including “British Portrait Miniatures: Tokens of Love and Loss” and “Filippino Lippi and Rome,” will be in their final weeks.
