The Columbus Museum of Art (CMA) has announced significant additions to its curatorial and collections leadership with the appointment of Anna Katherine Brodbeck as Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs and the promotion of Nicole Rome to Senior Director of Collections and Exhibitions. These appointments are aimed at reinforcing the museum’s dedication to programmatic excellence, fresh artistic perspectives, innovative collection stewardship, and enhanced community engagement.
Anna Katherine Brodbeck, formerly the Hoffman Family Senior Curator of Contemporary Art at the Dallas Museum of Art, brings extensive experience in contemporary art curation, scholarship, and artist collaboration. She will lead CMA’s Curatorial Department, overseeing collections, exhibitions, publications, acquisitions, and artist-driven projects. Nicole Rome, who has over a decade of experience in museum registration, collections, and exhibition management at CMA, will continue to guide the museum’s collections and exhibitions teams, focusing on institutional initiatives and innovative display methods.
