Cleveland audiences will have the opportunity to experience the Tony Award-winning musical ‘Suffs’ when it arrives at Playhouse Square’s Connor Palace from February 3 to 22, 2026. The musical, which has been praised for its thrilling, inspiring, and dazzlingly entertaining nature, tells the story of the passionate American women who fought for their right to vote.
‘Suffs’ is written, composed, and has lyrics by Shaina Taub, who made history by independently winning Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score in the same season. The production has already garnered critical acclaim, including the Outer Critics’ Circle Award for Best New Musical and two Drama Desk Awards. The national tour follows a successful 10-month run on Broadway.
Single tickets for the Cleveland engagement will go on sale August 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. and can be purchased through the Playhouse Square website or by phone. The musical boldly explores the triumphs and challenges of the suffrage movement, highlighting the complex lives and relationships of the women involved.
