Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) has announced an extension of its popular exhibition, “The Science Behind Pixar.” The exhibition, which explores the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts used in Pixar’s animated films, will now be accessible to the public through the summer months.
“The Science Behind Pixar” offers an in-depth look at the filmmaking process, featuring over 50 interactive elements that allow visitors to engage with the principles of modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, lighting, and rendering. Guests can discover how Pixar artists and scientists bring beloved characters and worlds to life, from “Toy Story” and “Finding Nemo” to “Inside Out” and “WALL•E.” The extension provides an extended opportunity for families and enthusiasts to experience this educational and entertaining exhibition.
